Britons over 50 are in desperate need of home repairs but new research shows they are unable to afford the cost to fix them.  If you need to pay for urgent repairs an early payday loan could provide the funds until your next pay day.

More than a third of over 50s according to Saga Personal Finance are struggling to find the extra cash for vital repairs with one in seven claiming they cannot afford it.

The recent report from the institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) stated that that the UK’s poorest families will be hit the hardest by forthcoming budget cuts.  In response, the Saga poll of more than 14,000 over 50s revealed more than one in six people cite roofing as the aspect most in need of repair and one in seven say their drainage and guttering needs fixing.

“People are living longer which means that retirement incomes have to stretch a lot further to keep up with inflation,” said Andrew Goodsell, Saga Group’s Executive Chairman.

“Many retirees find they need additional cash, whether it is to make every day life easier, fund house repairs, take the trip of a lifetime, or to contribute to care in later life.

Over one in seven when asked how they were going to finance the repairs said they could not afford it, 50 percent said they would use saving and fewer than one percent would ask family or friends for financial support.

London homes are suffering the most with 42 percent of Londoners in need of housing repairs.

    Early Payday Loans

To cover the costs of home maintenance consider an early payday loan.  Eligibility is based on a borrower’s ability to repay the loan by their next pay day.

Brits are wasting money on bank charges in order to send their loved ones to university overseas.  If you are struggling with the extra costs of your child’s education an easy cash loan could cover these initial costs until your next pay check.

Tens of thousands of would-be-students have missed out on UK university placements this year and as such are looking to head abroad.

Caxton FX revealed high street banks are charging high fees and uncompetitive exchange rates for foreign money transfers.  With charges of up to £40 to simply transfer money banks are also applying commission and costs for overseas delivery.

“It’s a knee-jerk reaction to go to your bank for overseas payments,” said James Hickman, Caxton FX managing director.

“To avoid wasting money on unnecessary fees, parents need to know that there are cheaper and trustworthy alternatives.”

Paying US tuition fees via the bank could set parents back an extra £374 per semester equating to a massive £1496 extra over a two year course.

    Easy Cash Loan

If September is likely to be an expensive month an easy cash loan can take the pressure off with up to £750 available to borrow to cover you until your next pay day.  Furthermore, borrowers only get charged £20 per £80 they borrow.

Garden gnomes are making a comeback but as they do they are an increasing target for thieves a new survey reveals.  If your garden belongings have been stolen and your finances cannot stretch to replace them a national payday loan could help.

The age group 18-24 year olds account for 16 percent of ownership second only to the over 55s of who account for 18 percent the MORE TH>N Garden Study found.

However, as more celebrities adopt gnomes for their gardens including Rio Ferdinand, the act of stealing gnomes (‘gnoming’) becomes commonplace with 27 percent of owners claiming at least one of their ornaments have been stolen.

“In many ways gnomes are a British institution so it’s great to see they’re moving with the times and enjoying a resurgence,” said Pete Markey, MORE TH>N spokesperson.

“Gnoming is already a problem and it could become more prevalent if people don’t start taking the issue of garden security more seriously.  British gardens nowadays contain many valuable items and leaving them exposed is the outdoor equivalent of leaving the front door open, providing easy pickings for thieves.”

Garden theft is also not restricted to the garden gnome as the survey also showed 28 percent of us have experienced a theft with barbies, patio heaters to plants being swiped.

Security could have a huge impact on these figures as only 15 percent claimed the best they could do to protect their belongings was put them in an un-locked shed and 35 percent take no garden security at all.

    A National Payday Loan

To either fund the replacement of stolen garden belongings, or to buy a lockable storage facility to prevent it from happening, a national payday loan could help provide the funds.  Only £20 is charged per £80 borrowed and most people are eligible if they are in work and are able to repay the loan with their next pay check.

Families and friends will be dusting off their hats and flocking to weddings around the country as this weekend is set to be the most popular for couples to tie the knot.  If your finances are struggling to stretch to pay for the cost of attending a wedding a fast online payday loan could cover it until you are able to repay it from your next pay check.

Specialist wedding insurer Ecclesiastical found that Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th September is the single most popular weekend for getting married in the UK, based on the number of wedding insurance policies they have sold this year.

A massive 2.5 percent of this year’s entire weddings will take place this weekend, moving in line with the growing popularity of September weddings, a change from 2009 when July weekends were most fashionable.

“It’s easy to understand why this weekend is so popular with brides and grooms,” said Dave Simms, Ecclesiastical’s personal lines insurance manager.

“There is a clear shift to Friday weddings and Sundays are increasingly avoided for the big day.  This again is no surprise as having your wedding on a Friday will enable you to prolong the celebrations throughout the weekend.”

The second most popular weekend to get married is the 10-11 September followed by 17-18 July, and 24-25 July after that.

In 2008 the National Office for Statistics showed there were in total 270,403 weddings in the UK.

    A Fast Online Payday Loan

Guests typically have to pay for travel, their own outfit, accommodation, drinks and of course a gift when going to a wedding, amounting to a pricey weekend.  If you are unable to finance all this in one go a fast online payday loan is a good way to cover the cost, where £750 can be borrowed at one time, paid back with the borrower’s next pay check.

Knicker-nicking is on the rise due to the increasing amount of expensive designer brands Brits increasingly buy, according to a recent survey.  To replace stolen items not covered on insurance consider a low cost payday loan to fund an unexpected cost.

MORE TH>N Home Insurance completed the UK’s first study of reformed burglars of whom 38 percent claimed clothes lines are most criminal’s primary targets during a break-in with designer pants just as likely to be swiped as jeans.

Of those consumers surveyed 64% admitted to regularly hanging out washing to dry completely on view for long periods of time making them vulnerable to snatching.

“We are constantly being bombarded with images of ‘A’ list celebrities in their luxurious undergarments, so it’s no surprise that these items are becoming increasingly coveted by both consumers and thieves,” said Annetter Lepper, MORE TH>N spokesperson.

“No one likes to think of an intruder rummaging through their belongings, so it’s important to take all steps to limit this possibility and have comprehensive insurance cover in place in case the unfortunate does happen.”

Bedroom draws are also a popular place for burglars to rummage, specifically looking to grab glamorous garments with 34 percent of ex-crooks admitting to having done so.

The research’s experts blame the trend of expensive lingerie on celebrities such as Elle Macpherson, Kylie Minogue and Kellly Brook lines which means Brits are now paying up to £85 for a single set.

    Low Cost Payday Loans

It does not always work out to be good financial sense to claim for stolen items on insurance when the overall policy price could be significantly increased.  To replace items recently burgled a low cost payday loan could help cover the cost until your next pay day.

Motorists using the M6 Toll may be spared the £5 charge with a new campaign to rid the West Midlands of the costly failure.  If you need to use a toll road on your way to work and are struggling to find the extra cash to pay for it this month a small payday loan could cover the cost.

A report by the Campaign for Better Transport found the 27-mile toll motorway has failed to provide significant congestion relief and the price for use has been steeply increased year on year.

Midland Expressway Ltd, the operator of the Toll, was found to be losing tens of millions annually, while M6 congestion has become so bad that the Government is considering spending another £500m on it to deal with the problems the Toll has failed to resolve.

“The Government needs to spend scarce public funds on maintaining the roads we have and giving people good alternatives to car use,” said Richard George of Campaign for Better Transport’s Roads.

“With Government coffers running empty, it is no surprise that politicians are looking at toll roads as a way to deliver funds for new road building projects.  But our research shows that private toll roads such as the M6 Toll don’t help motorists or the surrounding area, and don’t make money for investors either.”

    Small Payday Loans

The steep increase of the M6 Toll charge may be too much for some motorists to fund on their daily commute but in the case of a heavy month at work, or a set of meetings you need to be certain you are not late for, so the Toll may be your only option.  To pay for this added extra a small payday loan where you pay it back with your next pay check, could be a good option.

The average driver is estimated to pay around £50 on every policy to protect against claims for accidents with uninsured drivers, new research shows.  If you have recently been in a collision with an uninsured driver an online payday loan could help cover the costs not covered by your insurance.

The research by The Co-operative Insurance found honest drivers pay out for the uninsured one day a week every year.  Of these dishonest motorists young people are most likely to flout the law with a quarter admitting to either driving without insurance, MOT or a licence.

“Personal responsibility is at the heart of this issue,” said Tim Franklin, The Co-operative Financial Services chief operating officer.

“Millions of people are deliberately flouting the law by not insuring their cars at massive cost to honest road users and the wider insurance industry posing an unnecessary and unjustified risk.”

The £50 forked out to cover the damage caused by uninsured drivers is the equivalent to 52 days cover under an annual policy, or one day a week for every year.

British drivers face a huge risk when taking to the road not only due to the risk of colliding with uninsured drivers but also as 64% admit to having performed some form of potentially dangerous activity while driving according to Sainsbury’s research.

Eating and drinking was found to be the main offence with 38% of the motorists questioned admitting to the felony in July, followed by 28% who drove while feeling tired.

Driving wearing flip flips or no shoes increased by 4% from last year to 18%, and despite using a hand held mobile while in front of the wheel is illegal, one in nine have done so in the last month, with 6% admitting to sending a text message while driving.

    An Online Payday Loan

To help pay for unexpected repairs or if you want to upgrade your current insurance cover an easy cash loan could help with the financial side.  It is a short term loan which his usually paid back from the borrower’s next pay check, usually within 31 days.

Schools are being criticised by Citizens Advice Bureau today for ignoring the current economic climate and ignoring government guidance on keeping school uniform costs to a minimum.

If you are unable to provide the right uniform for your child with this month’s pay an instant approval payday loan could help pay for back to school items.

The national charity warned that too many schools are still insisting uniform be bought from an exclusive supplier instead of enabling cheaper options to be made available.  Worst still, it was found that sometimes the school itself compel parents to buy the uniform from them often at twice the price.

“In the current economic climate, and at a time when academies – many with expensive new uniforms – are springing up to replace existing schools, it’s all the more important that schools do what they can to keep costs down for families who are under severe financial pressure,” said Gillian Guy, Citizens Advice Bureau chief executive.

“By following simple, cost-cutting steps schools really can help families at this time of greatest need.  We want to see them making uniform available from a wide selection of suppliers or by offering iron-on and sew-on badges as options.”

Citizens Advice Bureau research also showed that Local Councils could do more to ease this burden with a massive 60% not offering any kind of uniform grant leaving parents to approach charities for support.

They also showed that little had changed since Department of Education research in 2007 showed 27% of families on an income less than £15,000 were spending more than 20% of this on school costs.  This is despite the Government guidance to Governors given in 2004 that ‘off the peg’ options should be available.

An average of £122 is expected to be spent on children’s back to school essentials this September research by LV= also found. Nearly half of parents expect to spend more on these items than last year – a total of £709 million is predicted to be dished out on school basics including uniforms, stationery, sportswear and winter coats.

An Instant Approval Payday Loan: Eligibility is based simply on your ability to repay the loan by your next payday.  Up to £750 can be borrowed at one time with a £20 charge per £80 borrowed.

Half of Brits leave their properties empty while away in the summer a new survey has found, making it an easy target for burglars.  If your house has been burgled or you are looking for funds to take out insurance, a loan until payday could cover costs not usually included in your monthly budget.

A huge 51% of Brits will leave their property empty in August and of these, almost a quarter admitted they would not ask a neighbour, friend or family member to keep an eye on their property while away M&S Money showed.

Worryingly, 17% of people admitted that they conceal keys outside their property at some point while away, and two thirds with neighbours, family, friends or someone such as a dog walker.

“With August being one of the most popular months for people to go away, we would urge homeowners to take appropriate steps to ensure their home is secure while they enjoy their holidays,” said Andrew Ferguson, M&S general insurance head.

“It is important that security measures you take are in line with the terms and conditions of your policy to ensure you have adequate cover should the worst happen.”

London was also recently found to have the highest reported burglaries in 2008/9 causing the 1 in 4 who have no home contents insurance to consider a loan until payday to fund the recovery.

This research by Yorkshire Bank Home Insurance of 375 Local Authorities found London had a total of 92,759 reported burglaries last year closely followed by 82,706 in the North West.

A Loan until Payday: short term cash loans – you can apply online and borrow up to £750, with no faxing or paperwork required.

Grandparents are tagging along on many British summer holidays this year as new research shows their childcare services are invaluable.  A small payday loan could help cover extra costs a trip abroad could incur or extra childcare expenses.

A third of grandparent across the UK said they regularly holiday with their children and grandchildren for the sole purpose to provide childcare the RIAS ‘Summer Holiday Helpers’ study revealed.

When they are not abroad, 51% of grannies provide childcare in their own house – meaning for many children this is becoming a holiday home.  This is due to many parents having to return to work because of the economic climate, 26% of grandparents agreeing.

“The extended family holiday is enjoying a comeback and that grandparents really are at the heart of many families,” said RIAS managing director Janet Conner.

“As working hours get longer and the impact of previous years’ economic turmoil hangs over us, it looks as though parents are relying on grandparents more than ever before, especially over the long summer holiday break.”

Over half of over 50s grandparents, equivalent to 7.5 million, regularly provide childcare, and 50% of these claim their duties increase during school holidays.  Additionally, nearly all of these grandparents, 98%, provide the service for free the RIAS ‘Summer Holiday Helpers’ study found earlier this summer.

The time grandparents spend providing childcare over the summer holidays amounts to £558 if parents had to pay for it, saving the UK parents a total of £806 million a year.

    Small Payday Loans

If you are unable to rely on grandparents and need extra help to pay for childcare over the summer period a small payday loan could help.  Up to £750 can be borrowed with the funds deposited into your bank account that or the following day.
